Title
Abstract of title of the devisees in trust of the late Marquis of Ormonde to estates in Derbyshire beginning with indenture of 21 Oct 1703 by which Godfrey Clarke of Chilcote bargained and sold to Thomas Hanbury and Richard Buckley farms in the occupation of 12 named persons, seven closes called Phipps Land, three closes part of Windgreaves, three closes, Marsh Closes, four closes called Smithy Coates, close called Gun Croft, close called Clarkes Close, part of Codnor Meadow, another piece of Codnor Meadow, two more closes part of Codnor Meadow, cottages, and a messuage and five closes called Lacey Fields, in the towns and parishes of Codnor, Loscoe, Heanor, Langley, Codnor Castle, Pentrich and Milhay, and ending with Act of Parliament for the sale of the English Estates, 1824.
