Thomas Gresley of Netherseale (1668-1743)
Description
Second son of Sir Thomas Gresley, 2nd Baronet and Frances; brother of Sir William Gresley, 3rd Baronet
m. Elizabeth Lee, 1705
Granted Netherseal in 1690, and took up residence by 1705, thereafter he resided at Ladyhol, Yeldersley.
High Sheriff of Leicestershire (c1712-1713)
When the direct male line of the elder branch of the Baronets failed in 1837, the Baronetcy devolved to Revd William Nigel (see D77/4/14) through this line
