Containing volumes as follows:
1. Accounts of W R Smith with Clients, 1820-1821; accounts for expenses relating to sales of goods and property, 1829-1839; memoranda of money despatched, 1819

Day book, accounts of purchases or sales (or possibly both according to goods involved) of barytes, white and red lead, white paint and other goods over a wide area as far south as London and nort th Liverpoos, Lancashire, Yorkshire, including Hull, 1846-1847 and from September 1847, hides, skin and offal [probably a term for leather] sold in the Derbyshire area to 1848
3. ? Extracts concerning Derbyshire from various legal records ? of Mr Simpson as undersheriff, 1815-1816
4. Volume marked case book of J and J Simpson 1851 but with earlier reference and chiefly 1851-1864
5. Cash book, mixed office and private entries, 1835-1848
6. Household disbursements with receipted bills of Mrs Ellerker of Richmond, Surrey, died 1842, 1840-1842
7. Office journal, cash account and accounts with clients, 1823-1831
