Description
Roland Eyre of Hassopp, esquire and Thomas Eyre, his son and heir, to Ralph Clarke of Cutthorpe (co. Derby), esquire; Thomas Rogers of Tamworth (co. Staffs) and William Smalwood of the Middle Temple also being parties for the purposes of suffering a recovery. The fifth part of the manor of Coshall, in Brampton, the capital messuage called Wigley Hall and a number of other messuages, etc. and messuages, closes, land, etc. in Heddleston otherwise Edlaston (fields and tenants named): and two messuages with lands, etc. belonging, in Calver (tenants named): in all thirty two messuages, three hundred acres of lands, and meadow, etc.; for £2,748. In respect of the manor of Coshall and the property in Brampton, Wigley, etc. to the use of Ralph Clarke for ever; in respect of the property in Heddleston and Calver, to the use of Clarke for one thousand years reserving the rents and profits (except £34 p.a.), to Roland Eyre for his life; after his death Clarke is to have the rents and profits so long as the present tenants (named), hold any rights therein, and when Clarke has peaceable enjoyment of the same, the rents and profits to Thomas Eyre.
