Copy: (John Barker) to Mr. William Barker: has delayed answering the last until Mr. Dunnage had visited Derbyshire; John and Dunnage have examined Mr. Charlesworth’s will; William has no power to bequeath any of the £2,000, but John will be glad to appropriate some of it to the support of William’s widow, subject to legal advice; John approves of Mr. Werry’s action with regard to Mr. Wilkinson; he does not wish to appoint a new agent at present; George ought to make his own way in the world.
