- Bundle marked with modern label AR/8 and containing x 6 copies of sale particulars for Freehold Estates at Mellor and Marple:
'2nd Edition/ Derbyshire & Cheshire/ Particulars and plans/ of Valuable/ Freehold Estates /situate at /Mellor and Marple/….963acres and 25 perches…for sale at the Palatine Hotel, Manchester…July the 24th, 1867 [Note: Messrs Richardson & Small, Solicitors, Burton on Trent / John Parkin, Estate Agent and Surveyor, Idridgehay near Wirksworth.
The x 6 copies[ very dirty]can be identified by annotations to top, as follows:

note: the sales particulars appear to be very detailed and contain coloured maps of all of the properties, together with a coloured plan of the mill, drawn by John Parkin Land Agent, Idridgehay.
