| Description | Up to 1958, the admission records take the form of individual pupil record sheets. Their format changes over time, but in general the details recorded are: name of pupil, pupil's father, father's occupation, address, date of birth, date of admission/leaving, position on admission/leaving (i.e. form), whether boarder or day scholar, previous place of education, particulars of exemption from tuition fees, occupation taken up after leaving school, or place of further education. Details of examination results or scholarships generally left blank. From 1958, the records are in register form, recording name, date of birth, admission/withdrawal date, previous school, name of parent and address.
