Administrative History
Friends of Victoria Hall was founded in 2006, out of concern for the future of Victoria Hall, a Grade II listed building dating from 1890, since when it has been used as a library and public meeting place. The Friends' aim was to ensure that the hall was developed for the benefit of the people of Glossop and the surrounding area. The organisation is now defunct.
