| Administrative History | Castle Gresley and Linton United District Church of England School opened in August 1880. By 1911, it was known as Castle Gresley Council School, teaching infants within the catchment area of Linton and Castle Gresley Urban District. The school ceased to exist in 2008 when it was permanently closed. Pupils were transferred to Linton Primary School. |
