Including assorted Woollat and Strutt family letters (5 items), 1751-1777, business letters, 1800-1821, assorted loose accounts, cheques, notes, etc, 1801-1832, letters of attorney and accompanying affidavit in Chancery case concerning the bankruptcy of James Hewitt, Dec 1792, printed price list of cotton yarns of WG & J Strutt, Sep 1862.
The folder includes 6 items with captions for an exhibition of Strutt records in mid 20th century, comprising letter of Daniel Barnard, exporter to Russia, 1807, request note for specie [money in form of coin] at Belper Mill, 1807, letter on eport of hosiery to Messina, 1808, notary public protest against bill of exchange with Messrs Strutt, 1810, notice of suspension of payments by Samuel Wilson, Liverpool agent, 1816, and three shipping notes for cotton twist bound for Elsinore and St Petersburg, 1817-1818
