Conveyance by Harriet Maria Fitzherbert of Jasmin Cottage, Barming near Maidstone, Kent, spinster at the request of Rev Jeremiah Barnes of Bentley Cottage, Fenny Bentley to Rev Edward Josiah Hayton Rector of Fenny Bentley and Matthew Lownds and William Oakden of Fenny Bentley farmers churchwardens of the parish, for £200 paid by Barnes, of messuage, cottage, dwellinghouse and tenement hereinbefore two messuages, but previously in one in Fenny Bentley, with garden, orchard and land formerly in the occupation of Advise Gorman and now or lately of Emma Slater and containing 1 rood 1 perch, to the use of party 3 in trust to allow the premises to be used as a residence for a school-master or schoolmistress, being a communicant of the Church of England, of the school at Fenny Bentley taught in connection with the Church of England, and if there should be no such school, or no mater or mistress continuing a communicant of the Church of England or desiring to occupy the house, then party 3 may permit any indigent person to occupy it rent free or at a rent, rents to be used to maintain the premises, 2 Dec 1881
