Conveyance by Avise Gorman of Fenny Bentley widow to Sir Henry Fitzherbert of Tissington Hall bart reciting that William Bowler formerly of Fenny Bentley labourer by his will of 16 March 1814 bequeathed to his daughter Avise Bowler his freehold messuage, garden, orchard and premises in Fenny Bentley, that Avise married John Gorman of Fenny Bentley 17 Aug 1819 and that he died April 1839 and witnessing Avise Gorman conveyed to Sir Henry for £150, 2 messuages, cottages, dwelling houses or tenements formerly in one messuage etc in Fenny Bentley with garden, orchard and land in Advise Gorman's occupation and the other now unoccupied (sic) and containing 1 rood 1 perch, 9 Apr 1846
