Title
The settlement of Elizabeth Peel at Ashford in the Water Notice to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of Ashford by the Overseers of the Poor of the Township of Dukinfield, Cheshire, concerning Elizabeth Peel, a poor woman who is now residing in the workhouse at Dukinfield, an order having been obtained for her removal to Ashford which was her last legal place of settlement 19 Apr 1860 She is the widow of John Peel and they were married 36 years ago at Mottram Parish Church in Longdendale, Cheshire, he being the son of Thomas Peel, by his wife, Mary, both of whom are now dead. The said Thomas Peel was born about 59 years ago. John Peel died about 12 years ago
