Administrative HistoryThe Derbyshire Yeoman was built in 1959 by Ind Coope and Allsop, later Allied Breweries, and was the first destination on Derby's 'Mile' pub crawl. The pub was sold to Maston's Brewery in 1990 and it closed the following year. When the site was sold to McDonalds, it was proposed to demolish the building altogether, but it remained remarkably recognisable against the original architect's plans.
