Description
William son of Ralph fitz Ernald of Stapenhull [Stapenhill] gives to Robert son of Peter de Ilkeston, 'carbonario' [coal miner] and his wife Alicia, one third of a piece of land with buildings formerly held by Eda Ernald and two acres of arable land in Stapenhull; three butts of land lying on Hongelondes next to land formerly of Walter le Lifte' of Burton, one butt lying on Ruggeweysti next to land of Richard de Hondesacre, one butt lying on Bradepeterhull next to land of Robert son of John de Luci, one butt on Muskemer next to land of Richard Ernald of Drakelowe, and another butt lying on Attewytemer next to land of Adam de Molendinus Capello
Rent: annual payments of sixpence of the feast of St John the Baptist, and a 'gallina' [hen-rent ] at Easter.
