William son and heir of Margerie, relict of Henry Scatermarket of Burtonn, quitclaims to William Tapperto of Stapunhull [Stapenhill] and his heirs and assigns a messuage, two cottages, 15 acres of arable land, one and a half acres of meadow and one piece of woodland next to Scalclyffe, formerly held by Ralph Ernald of Stapunhull
Witnesses: Roger de Gresley, Ralph de Irland, John Pakinton, Galfred' Brome, John de Worthynton and others
Dated at Burtonn super Trent Thursday the feast of the nativity of Saint John the Baptist 1Ric II [24 Jun 1377]
