| Description | Reciting that by bond of 22 Nov. 1697 John Farewell esquire, late of Brenley, was bound to John Hales esquire, of Inner Temple, for payment of £406, and that Hales obtained a judgement on the bond against Farewell in Michaelmas Term 1697, so that Farewell's lands in Derbys. and Kent became chargeable with the judgement, and Farewell left these lands to Boys, lands in Yorks. being in trust to pay off his debts, all or most of which lands in Yorks. have been purchased by Viscount Downe, who has taken an assignment of bond for him and his heirs; now Viscount Downe covenants that he will not seek to encumber Margaret's lands in Derbys. with above bond |
