Title
Letter to Rev Mr. Assabye from Thomas Wright
Date
13 Sep 1738
Description
Has found from old papers brought from Birkin (Yorks) that Mrs. Tayler had till she died Long Moor Bottoms, Bawn springs, Thorny Hagg, Little Ings, Horse Close, and Mill Holme, with house, gardens and field land, and she paid nothing to church; Mrs. Clayton says payment was first demanded in 1725; this is only a trifle, but right must be known.
