Administrative HistoryThe following records relate to the Sims family of Alfreton. Albert Sims was manager of the Boots store at Alfreton from 1924 to 1952 and was married to Catharine (nee Fisher). Their son Ronald, served in the Signals Regiment of the Palestine Command from 1945-1948, was married to Sarah Alice, and had a daughter, Jean (born 1949).
