| Archive Reference / Library Class No. | D5430/17/1/16 |
| Title | Plan of parish of Eyam and Foolow |
| Date | [early 19th cent] |
| Description | Scale 3 chains : 1 inch
With note accompanying the plan identifies it as a copy of the enclosure map [drawn up in 1813] and includes an extract from a letter of Charles Sisum Wright 9 May 1888: 'The original [enclosure map] either is or ought to be at the Office of the Clerk of the Peace in Derby. The one that I hold is a copy for the convenience of reference on the spot for the Freeholders of Eyam'. However, the plan actually appears to be a copy of the tithe map of 1842, with annotations made in the same hand as the letter. |
