The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes is a Friendly Society dedicated to the encouragement of its members, the financial assistance of members and their families, and fundraising activities. The Duke of Devonshire Lodge closed in 1979 when it was assimilated into its parent body, the Buxton and District Provincial Grand Lodge
