Description | memoranda books, recording local events These two volumes of family, village and local memoranda are thought to have been compiled by a female member of the Needham family of Horsley. They are rough, contemporary notes, together with some household and medicinal recipes and remedies. Entries chiefly relate to Horsley but there are references to Horsley Woodhouse and, less frequently, to Derby. |
Custodial History | These documents were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by a private individual in April 2000. |
