Administrative History
The School opened in 1928 as the first non-selective Modern School for Girls in the area. In 1946, it began to develop a bias towards nursing and nursery work. By 1949 it was known as a Secondary Practical School.
Custodial History
These programmes were donated to the Derbyshire Record Office in August 1999.
