Description
This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
Winster Moor surveyed and dividedby W. Brailsford 1761. Scale:4 chains to the inch [1:3200]. Size: 75 x 60 cm. Materials: coloured ink on cloth backed paper. Centred on: SK242595 Notes: compass rose, north at top. Shows Bank Pasture, 500 acres, church and 3 other houses, roads, Shothouse Spring, Town pond: allotments to various landowners. Location:DRO, D504/2/22/2
