| Administrative History | Wycliffe Congregational Chapel, Church Street, Alfreton was certified for worship on 4 June 1856 and registered for the solemnisation of marriages in April 1867. In 1925 it became known as Wycliffe Congregational Church, and in 1972 as Wycliffe United Reformed Church. The church building closed in 1997, although there still continued to be church and elders' meetings until 1999. |
