Long Eaton Central (Wesleyan) Methodist Church
Administrative History
Central Church was built in 1862 although the congregation had already been established for many years. In 1932 the Wesleyan Methodist Church joined with the Primitive Methodist and United Methodist Churches to form the Methodist Church. In 1960 Mount Tabor and Zion Methodist chapels were closed. The congregations joined with Central to form Trinity Methodist Church. The building was demolished and rebuilt in March 2004.
