Gift from Petronella, widow of Adam Coke of Cotes, to Henry Coke of Hanbury, her son, of 16 acres of arable land which Petronella held of Henry de Houndhill her brother in free marriage lying between Rowley and the Forest [ of Needwood] extending in length towards the road which leads from Houndhill towards Agardsley and the assart of Thomas Pincarn. Witneses: Henry, Lord of Houndhill; Roger de Dounes; William Chandos, Henry Owen of Marchington; William the clerk, and others.
