Parties: (1) Edward Madeley the elder of West Broughton, yeoman, and Edward Madeley the younger of West Broughton, yeoman, and (2) John Fitzherbert of Somersal Herbert, gentleman.
In consideration of £100.
Dated 8 June 24th year of the reign of King Charles 1648.
Parchment sheet, with seals missing from two tags, signed by Edward Madeley Junr and with the mark of Edward Madeley.
Endorsed with memorandum of delivery of possession and seisin, and with memorandum that the feoffment was shown to John Lowe, gentleman, and John Fitzherbert on 4 October 1655.
Endorsed with old number "S.S. I. 20".
