Administrative History | There first seems to have been a Methodist Society at Peak Forest in 1828. It grew in numbers so that in 1852 the building of a chapel was completed. In 1895 the chapel was enlarged and a schoolroom added. Further extensions took place in 1932. It was a Wesleyan Methodist Church until 1933, originally in the Bradwell Wesleyan Circuit. |
