| Administrative History | The school was started in 1963 as a remedial unit attached to the Springhill Reception Unit at Duffield, and, although the unit soon assumed the role of a special school for childen attending the centre, it was not officially recognised as a special school until mid 1970. The School was closed in August 1994, following a review of special education in Derbyshire. |
