There are gaps in some series of records. Some series continue from records for the Wesleyan church (see D3965/W). |
| Administrative History | The Wesleyan chapel was built in 1807 and a Primitive church in 1895. Following the amalgamation of the Primitive, Wesleyan and United Methodist Churches in Britain in 1932, the Primitive Methodists closed their church and they seem to have been absorbed into the congregation of the old Wesleyan church. In 1939 a new Methodist Church was built. |
