Administrative History	In 1867 a Primitive Methodist Chapel was built at Birchover replacing an earlier chapel which was in existence in 1853. The church was extended in 1928. It closed in 1993. It was in the Bakewell Circuit, later the Peak Methodist Circuit.
Custodial History	The records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by the Peak Methodist Circuit in December 1993 and September 1995.
