Title	29 July 1814 London. William Longsdon to James Longsdon. Glad box safely delivered and contents on whole what James wished. As to waistcoat being copy of last fault not with newness £10 enclosed for Mr M will be credited in James account Pleased Father and James both without notes on the insolvent banks - writer was worried. See as much of Mr M as James can - lacks interest in farming. James' general farming does not sound very successful but not particularly bad either. Beef remains high in London. Wishes Father had sold his corn - do not anticipate any advance to compensate him from risk. Account current enclosed. Will pay bootmaker if can get discount. Tailor must wait for James' next remittance.
