Title
D. of Abercorn to Fox : enclosed opinion on recently revealed interest held by Fox in the Armstrong Commission and the Grant Finance Syndicate whilst still a member of the board of the Victoria Falls Power Company,;
[as Fox was liable to gain large profits from these two concerns, he had a liability fully to disclose his interests to the Falls board].
Fox to D. of Abercorn : protests that his involvement with Armstrong and Grant was common knowledge, even to Hawksley;
the minutes of the V.F.P.C. must be in error if they do not make this clear.
