John Lancashire of Draycott Fields, farmer and John Curzon of Derby, gent --- Mary Sills of Heanor, spinster, recites marriage settlement of John Lancashire snr, and Pasty Antill for £400 5 - 6 May 1774 --- released to John Curzon and John Lancashire jnr, 20 Dec 1804 -- warehouse in St Alkmund, Derby and house adjoining west end with land 40 yds by 7 3/4 yds between Derby Canal and Derby-Nottingham turnpike road near east side of bridge called New Pasture (abuttals given) in total 294 sq yds; lands 20 yds long in total 143 sq yds, ½ of Lot 4 when bought from Derby and Nottingham Canal Co by William Shaw of Derby, baker; land in total 304 sq yds, Lot 5 when sold by Derby and Nottingham Canal Co; land at Ockbrook called Draycott Meer Close abutting Draycott Field in total 4 acres 5 perches; Pastures Close in Ockbrook and Pastures House built on it, in total 17 acres 2 roods 12 perches as collateral security for mortgage of £800 --- 10 Sep
