Administrative History
Sir Edmund (1834-1910), son of a Manchester businessman, bought land in Derbyshire as an investment. The Buckley Trust was wound up in 1974.
Custodial History
These deeds were given to Derbyshire Record Office by a private individual in September and October 1984. Added to the catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project by volunteer Vicky Kerrigan.
