TitleMortgage in £500 at 4% per annum by Sir Edmund Buckley, baronet, of the Plas Dinas, Mawddwy, Merioneths., and his son Edmund Buckley, esq, of Milford Hall, Newtown, Mongomerys and their trustees, Edmund Shaw, gentleman, of 108 Higher Ardwick, Manchester, and John Stott, manufacturer, of Flixton, Lancs. to James Cooper Hyde, corn dealer; Robert Hill Hyde, corn dealer; Joseph Hyde, butcher and Ebenezer Hyde, butcher, all of Chapel en le Frith, of a plot of land (505 sq yds) at Whaley Bridge (measurements and bounds given), purchased 29 Sep 1854; a cottage and blacksmith's shop built on the aforesaid land and any vacant land between the cottage and the Turnpike Road; a plot of land (201 sq yds) at Whaley Bridge (bounds etc given); the mill, houses and gardens as at 5/1 with the right to use the watercourse and dam or weir; a pot of leasehold land (489 sq yds) at Yeardley cum Hardy and the right to take water in a pipe from the Reservoir adjacent to Whaley House to another reservoir to be used for Whaley Old Mill
