Administrative History | Derby Second (or Kedleston Street) Circuit was formed on the division of the Kedleston Street Primitive Methodist Circuit in 1871. The circuit was divided in 1881 to form an additional Third Circuit in Derby. The second circuit then consisted of Kedleston Street, Allestree, Darley Abbey, Langley Common, Langley and Dalbury Lees. The Third Circuit included the Central Church, Abbey Street, Littleover, Mickleover and Burnaston. This circuit was also known as the Kedleston Street circuit. The Circuit joined with the Derby King Street Circuit to form the Derby Derwent Circuit in 1934. |
