Title	Copy survey, valuation and rate of Brassington township. Poor rate assessment at 5d (old pence) in the pound, lands assessed on three fourths of their annual value, houses on one half and extra farm buildings on one fourth of their annual value. G H Hopkins auctioneer and surveyor, Belper. 19th cent. Fly leaf memoranda: ‘Isaac Rains, his book, Brassington Moor 1835’ and notes on product of rates and land tax on parish and individual farms.
