This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
Carsington Pasture quartured xber 7o 1665. Scale: no scale shown [1:3200]. Size: 32 x 42 cm. Materials: ink on paper. Centred on: SK237528 Notes: no orientation, north to top. Sketch plan, 171 acres, showing division by fences drawn as 'xxx ...', into 'Greeves qr., Channell Meddow, Long landes qr., Milkeing place'; also named closes, 'Ashborne way', gated: footpaths marked 'private way': Memo. notes 'Ashborne way was left 2 perches 3/5 or 14 yards 1/10 broade within the ditches and all private ways were left 1 perch broad'.
