Title
Lease by the President and Chapter of Lichfield to Rauff Gell of Hopton, of the site of the parsonage of Bawkewell with the Wolle House and a house nearby 2 burgages and a barn late in the tenure of John and Richard Roland, a burgage late in the tenure of Martyn Eyre and Nicholas Robynson, with all the glebe lands, meadows etc within the town and fields of Bawkewell pertaining to the parsonage, a cottage and croft in Holmes "nigh unto the water of Wy" and all land, pasture, meadow etc in Holmes or elsewhere within the lordship of Ashford and all other lands late in the holding of Richard Hoton, late vicar of Bawkewell, within the town and fields of Bawkewell and Holmes for 60 years at annual rent of £7 2s 4d with a covenant by Rauff to build a competent dwelling house on the site of the parsonage and if there be a vicar resident at Bakewell during the said term, the President and Chapter may let a portion of Thomas Hyblyn's tenement to him and reduce Rauff's rent accordingly 20 Nov
