The pages of the register, which are unbound have been numbered. Pages 9 and 10, presumably containing baptisms from Nov 1625 to Mar 1627, are missing.
Page 17 contains a memorandum concerning the parentage of Samuel Birch alias Garside, baptised 24 Jan 1630 [1631].
On page 58, the date 1663 has been altered to read 1653. The entries on this page appear to have been begun half way down the page with Jun 1663 and continued at the top, Jan-Mar 1663 [1664].
Page 140 contains a memorandum of sale of a pew in Glossop Church, 3 Jan 1629/30 and a list of church reaves for Glossop, Padfield, Hayfield, Dinting, Whitfield, Chunal, Charlesworth and Simmondley, 14 May 1637 with some alterations, Sep 1644.
Page 141 contains a memorandum of sale of a pew, 9 Jun 1623 and a memorandum by Robert Crier, Vicar of Glossop about the appointment of William Burnett of the Haugh, Bugsworth as churchwarden of Hayfield and including the agreement of the inhabitants of Bugsworth and Brownside about the responsibilities for provision of a churchwarden at Hayfield, 29 Nov 1625.
