Size: 41 x 33 cm. Materials: sepia ink on paper, damaged along margins. Notes: compass rose, west at top. Shows roads, houses in plan, rivers Tame and Mease, Salters Bridge, Cotton, Catton, Foremark, Stanton, Melbourne, Caulke, Ticknal, Furnace, Smisby, Butt House: endorsed '1771 Sketch of a Road through Hartshorne (from several villages beyond) to Swarkestone Bridge'.
