This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
Endorsed 'Sir.H.Harpur & Ld. Melbourne Plan of proposed exchanges' [18c]. Scale: no scale shown. Size: 41 x 54 cm. Materials: ink on parchment. Centred on: SK376229 Notes: no orientation, south at top Sketch map showing Dairy House and gardens, 'Old Road to Caulk Town', some tenants names and calculations. Location:DRO, D2375M/292/21
