Description	This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows: endorsed 'A sketch of that part of Melbourne Common which adjoins the lordship of Caulk and lies within view of the windows at the hall. Scale: no scale shown. Size: 46 x 39 cm. Materials: ink on paper, red outline on one plot, brown on roads. Centred on: SK370244 Notes: sketch map depicting "the largest quantity of land desired by Sir. Henry Harpur': shows Caulke Hall, mill, furnace, public house 'The Sign of the Horns'. Location:DRO, D2375M/292/22/1; copy at DRO, D2375M/292/22/2, on stouter paper.
