Descriptionreciting that Henry Woolley being seised of half messuage below by purchase from William Greogry of Manchester cotton weaver, had contracted with Josiah Caldwell late of Winster butcher deceased for the sale thereof to him for £60, but no conveyance was executed and that Caldwell was seised of the other moiety and the entirety of the other premises below by purchase from George Williamson Greaves late of Winster gent and reciting T24-25, that Caldwell has died, that the premises were auctioned 10 April last and Joseph Bateman became purchaser thereof at £136, and Stone has agreed to join in the present deed to convey his interest in premises as trustee of George Williamson Greaves and witnessing that for £136 paid by Bateman to Woolley and Buxton and for 10s paid by Bateman to Stone, Woolley, Buxton and Stone conveyed to Bateman, messuages in Winster and butcher’s shop in Town Street of Winster with stable adjoining, lately divided into two and in possession of Josiah Caldwell and William Marshall and now of Caldwell’s widow, and other premises as in T24-25, and conveyed them to Smith as Bateman’s trustee Dated 14 May Endorsed with livery of seisin NOTE: this deed is mutilated
