Administrative History | Christ Church, Stonegravels was built as a chapel of ease in Holy Trinity, Chesterfield in 1869. It became a separate parish in 1914, comprising part of Holy Trinity and the southern part of the parish of Newbold. The register of baptisms (1876-1886) is held at DRO ref D935 A/ PI 5/1, whilst burials (1871-1882) were entered in the Holy Trinity registers (DRO ref D935 A /PI 4/2). |
