Further information: Medical Board in September 1950 gave a 3 per cent life disability assessment. Parker appealed: 'I am handicapped to the extent of being unable to follow my normal employment. I have had to except a job with a much less rate of pay and I also have to have an occasional holiday through pain in my knee.' Working as a dataler at the time of the appeal. appeal Tribunal 18/10/1950 gave a decision of a 10 per cent loss of faculty for 6 months, provisional. Subsequently the assessment was reduced to 5 per cent which prompted the final appeal. Tribunal noted:' He seems to have some residual internal derangement of the joint two years after the operation. Though he is inclined to exaggerate, we are satisfied that he has a real disability '.
