Description of accident: Repairing an overhead line, received an electric shock and fell from pole
Further information: Neurologist report February 1954 states: 'weakness and muscular wasting in both hands and lower part of both forearm […] Haematomyelia in cervical region'. From Tribunal findings: 'considerable wasting, loss of movement and blunting of sensation in both hands and lower forearms , as well as pain in the neck'. Land had to returned to work as a supervisor of electricians.
