Further information: Fishwick injured himself on 14 February 1950. He spent time at Berry Hill Rehabilitation Centre from 1 May 1950 and was assessed at 30 per cent disablement on 27 September 1950 on account that 'the contusion has aggravated a pre-existing osteoarthritis.'
